Airship Electrolysis
Late Cancellation
Agreement

In order to book with Airship, patients must agree to and abide by our cancellation policy. Violations of the policy will result in permanent removal from the schedule.

Self-pay & private insurance patients

Self-pay and private insurance patients who cancel with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full price for their session, no exceptions. If the total cost exceeds $400, the fee will be capped at $400. Future sessions will be removed from the schedule until the fee is paid.

Kaiser & Medi-cal patients

Because we cannot collect a fee from a Kaiser or Medi-cal late cancellation or no-show, we have a two strike policy for Kaiser and Medi-cal patients.

Strike one: After the first no-show or late cancellation, the patient can no longer book recurring sessions. Sessions can still be booked one at a time.

Strike two: After the second no-show or late cancellation, the patient is permanently dropped from the schedule.

Timely cancellations

Airship patients are allowed to cancel and reschedule sessions with more than 48 hours notice. If you think you won't be able to make your upcoming session, we request you notify us as soon as possible, out of respect for our admin team and the tireless effort we put into keeping schedules full for our providers. Sessions can no longer be canceled through Vagaro. To cancel, you must call 510-812-7084 and leave a voicemail if you don't reach reception, or email info@airshipelectrolysis.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. If we have no record of a voicemail or email, then you will be subject to the late cancellation/no-show fee.

Excuses for late cancellations and no-shows

There are no excuses for late cancellations or no-shows, but our patients will often give them anyway, unaware that it causes our team to have mental breakdowns to argue with you about this on the phone. We understand that you may have trauma, that perhaps you're neurodivergent, that maybe you poked yourself in the eye and it still hurts, that your polycule is having issues, that you're tired, that your car broke down, that you forgot you don't have a car, and so on. Please understand that we only enforce these policies out of necessity, and we genuinely hate to do it. We will not waive the policy no matter how reasonable your excuse may seem.

Patient agreement

  1.  I understand that if I cancel my session with less than 48 hours' notice, I will be charged the full price of my session up to $400 (if self-pay/private insurance), or lose the right to book future sessions (if Medi-cal/Kaiser).

  2.  I understand that I am responsible for notifying the Airship office team as promptly as possible if I will not be able to attend a future session.

  3.  I understand that it is my responsibility to remember when my upcoming sessions are scheduled, even if there's a temporary tech issue with the scheduling platform, Vagaro.

  4.  I understand that in order to cancel a session, I must email info@airshipelectrolysis.com or call the main office line, 510-812-7084, to speak with reception or leave a voicemail. If there is no record of an email, phone conversation, or voicemail stating my intent to cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, I will be penalized for a late cancellation or no-show.

  5. I understand that the cancellation policy will not be waived for me no matter how compelling and/or creatively stunning my excuses are. I will refrain from giving excuses and try, to the best of my abilities, to accept reality, even if I hate reality and wish it were not so.
